Plainfield Salute the Troops 5k, Fun Run, & Soldier Stroll
About this race
Run for fun, run to challenge yourself, or run in honor of a veteran. This fun race is hosted by Plainfield Recreation to honor and support our military troops and veterans. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the local VFW, American Legion, and Veteran's Coffeehouse.
Beginning at 9:15am with the National Anthem, the Fun Run will then take off at 9:30am. The Soldier Stroll and 5K will follow starting at 10:15am with the walkers to start in back of the runners.
The route will begin and end at Plainfield High School and follow a route that moves through the athletic fields, Shepard Hill Elementary, and a small neighborhood. Both races are intended for all abilities and skill levels.
Join fellow runners on November 11, 2023 for the Plainfield Salute the Troops 5k, Fun Run, & Soldier Stroll. It's a fantastic 5K, 1.8K featuring a flat and fast course in Central Village.

Each participant will receive a medal. Each male and female for each age group will receive a unique medal and each overall winner will receive a trophy and unique medal.
Fun Run
Each participant will receive a medal.
