About this race

Playmakers is excited to collaborate with local schools, teams, and race organizers to provide cross country racing opportunities for elementary aged kids in the Greater Lansing area. 

Race distances will vary between 1 and 2 miles and will be run on similar courses to middle school and high school cross country races.

Lansing Catholic Invite

The race will take place at the St. Francis Retreat Center in DeWitt. When you enter the property drive all the way to the parking lot at the end of the drive. From there the course is about 300 yards north. We will have someone to greet you and show you the best way to get to the course. The course is using part of the course that we use for the Michigan Catholic Invitational. This course is two and half loops on grass trails. The start and finish will be in the open field where you can make your team camp and we will have portable toilets. Spectators are allowed anywhere on the course but should avoid the narrow trails and stay back in the area behind the start line where runners will be going both ways. There will be a parking fee of $5.00 per car.
