Polly's Run
About this race
Polly’s Run, a non-profit road race, is an annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ K road race honoring Polly Rogers and all the loved ones we have lost to pancreatic cancer.
The 5K will take place at 8:30am and the Kids K at 9:30am on May 31, 2025. The 5K race begins on 18th Street outside of Explora, and the Kids K starts at 18th Street and Mountain.
The purpose of the race is to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research.
The proceeds from this event will support pancreatic research by donating 100% of the profits to the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center. The UNMCCC has created an endowment for Polly’s Run that the profits from every year will be contributed and continue to grow. The endowment will create an everlasting funding stream for pancreatic cancer research in New Mexico.
The families and volunteers for this race would like to encourage you to support Polly’s Run through a donation, large or small.

Family Sponsorship 5K Run or Walk
The Polly's Run Family Sponsorship offers a unique experience for families participating in Polly's Run. Your sponsorship includes 6+ race entries, a 10x10 canopy with chairs, t-shirts, shout-out at the start of the race, and a custom banner for your family.
Pancreatic Cancer Survivor - 5K Run or Walk
Are you a survivor of Pancreatic Cancer? If so, we want to honor you with an announcement on race day! Your Race Fee includes the race and a special survivor t-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations through May 21st. After May 21st, t-shirts will be made available at packet pickup on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join the Polly's Run Team at the Lobo Cancer Challenge and sign up for this years Polly's Run! New this year, sign up for both events right here and 100% of the proceeds will go to the UNM Cancer Center's Pancreatic Cancer Endowment for Polly's Run! This dual registration includes a 5K run/walk for Polly's Run, and the 5K run for the Lobo Cancer Challenge set to take place either on September 19th or 26th. Individuals who fundraise $200 or more for the Lobo Cancer Challenge will receive a Polly's Run Team custom race shirt!
Kids Virtual Run!
Register for the Kids Virtual Run and receive a shirt and race bib for your kiddos. If you choose mail order, yours kids packet will be mailed with yours, if you choose packet pickup, it will be available at packet pickup with your packet. On May 30th, join all of Polly's Runners wherever you are! Make sure to share photos of your Virtual Run with us on social media by using #PollysRun.
