About this race

Celebrate Fall in beautiful Newburyport, MA with a scenic Half Marathon & 5K that start and finish at the RiverWalk Brewery. Enjoy a cold beer in the Beer Garden to celebrate your finish. Once you're done, you can spend the day enjoying everything greater Newburyport has to offer! 

Join fellow runners on September 29, 2024 for the PortRun Half Marathon & 5K. It's a fantastic Half-Marathon, 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Newburyport.

Half Marathon

Please, NO PARKING at the Start/Finish line. Bib # and race swag pick-up is on race day only from 7:00am – 7:45am. No early birds, please. RiverWalk Brewing Co. 40 Parker St Newburyport, MA US 01950 Races are scheduled from 8 - 11am. Beer garden opens at 11am. There will be six aid stations with water approximately every two miles. With warmer temperatures, runners are encouraged to carry additional water with their favorite hydration bottle, belt, vest or pack. ZYM Hydration is our on-course drink and hydration sponsor. ZYM created their Endurance Drink Mix for those that need energy and electrolytes to keep you performing at your optimal level. Many conventional sports drinks are filled with artificial flavors and colors and taste too sweet or too chalky. ZYM HYDRATION has built its reputation by providing the best tasting sports drink using natural ingredients. Check them out at www.zym.com Portable restrooms will be available at the start/finish and along the course as well. The roads are open to traffic. The local Police Department will help monitor traffic. PLEASE stay to the side of the road. Bag check is not available. Please plan accordingly. Award medals are given to the top three M/F in each age group. Overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your award before you leave (There will not be an awards ceremony). Awards will not be mailed. Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your purchased merchandise before you leave. Merchandise will not be mailed. Parking is available a short walk from the Start/Finish line: PARKING OPTION #1: Newburyport Commuter Parking Area 25 Boston Way Newburyport, MA 01950 Public parking fees apply. PARKING OPTION #2: 28 Parker St Newburyport, MA 01950 PARKING OPTION #3: Newburyport Commuter Parking Area 196 Newburyport Turnpike Newburyport, MA 01950 Public parking fees apply.
