Running
Kick Abuse 5K Run
NEW VENUE THIS YEAR!! Welcome back to the 10th Annual Kick Abuse 5K Race to benefit the Pediatric Resource Center! We are thrilled to announce that our event will be back in person this year. Even more exciting, we have a new venue and course for our runners to help raise money and promote our cause. While we were sad to see Kickapoo Creek Winery close its doors, we can not thank them enough for allowing us to host our wonderful event throughout their wine fields the first 8 years. Now, heading into new beginnings – live and in person – we will be hosting our Kick Abuse 5K run at the beautiful Donovan Park in center city Peoria. The challenges the past two years have been hard. Unfortunately, child abuse and neglect never left the scene. This race is your opportunity to help ensure children have access to the specialized medical services they so desperately need. We kindly ask you to join the Pediatric Resource Center’s mission to provide outstanding child-centered care to abused and neglected children through your sponsorship of our Annual Kick Abuse 5K Run/Walk. On behalf of our board of directors, our staff and most importantly, a child in need, thank you for your consideration in sponsoring our race.
Kids Fun Run
