HAPPY NEW YEAR!
NEW YEAR, NEW LOCATION, SAME GREAT TRADITION!
Kick off 2027 with a morning of movement, community, and celebration! The Peninsula Track Club and York High School Cross Country / Track & Field teams invite you to our annual New Year’s Day 5K Run/Walk—this year at our new home, York County’s McReynolds Athletic Complex!
We’re excited to work with York County Parks and Recreation and the MAC team to bring this New Year’s Day tradition to Yorktown. Their support helps us create a welcoming event where runners, walkers, families, and friends can celebrate a fresh start together.
Whether you’re chasing a fast finish, taking your first steps toward a new goal, or enjoying a walk with friends, there’s a place for you at the starting line. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome! Course judges will be on-site to verify performances in the walker division.
Every entry supports our student-athletes. All proceeds benefit York High School Cross Country and Track & Field, helping fund equipment, uniforms, and meet expenses.
