5k Run
This is the 5k Run. You may sprint, run, jog, trot, skip, and/or walk any or all of this course.
King/Queen 5k (200 lbs/150 lbs)
This is the so-called "heavyweight" division for Runners: 200 lbs for the Men 150 lbs for the Women There is no weigh in. Most race participants are honest. If you say you have met the weight requirement, we believe you. Please note: If you sign up in this division, you are NOT eligible for regular Age Group awards.
Walking
5k Walk
This is a 5k Walk. By definition, walking means you MUST have one foot on the ground AT ALL TIMES! You may NOT sprint, run, jog, skip, or trot one single step. To do so means you are cheating. If you are seen cheating, you will be disqualified without refund. Parents, please explain this to your children as it is not fair to other participants who are walking. You wouldn't allow them to ride their bike in the race, right? Please don't let him or her run.
