Spooky Sprint 5K
The Spooky Sprint 5k will start at 6:30 pm sharp following the kids' fun run at 6:00 pm. Run or walk this spooky 5k as you tour the beautifully decorated homes in Oakland Park. This event will start before sunset and depending on your pace you might finish in the dark. Bring glow sticks, flash lights and anything you want to aid you on the route, luminaries will be setup along the course with turn arrows to guide the way. Finish the race with a party fun for the whole family.
Kids Fun Run
For children ages 5 and under, we will have a short one-block run at 5:50 pm so little ones can participate in the fun. For alll children ages 6-11, we will have a half mile run starting at 6:00 pm. The course consists of a 1/2 mile loop for young goblins to walk or run. 🎃 Turn arrows will be setup along the route. Parents wanting to escort their kids are asked to please stay in the back of the pack to avoid getting in the way of the faster ones. This will keep everyone safe.
