About this race

Are You Ready to Accept the Challenge?
Join us on Saturday, July 24, 2027, for the Puyallup Trail Challenge—a true test of endurance, strategy, and determination.

Your mission? Complete three 5K trails in the allotted time. You'll have 45 minutes to finish each 5K, followed by 30 minutes to travel to the next park and prepare for the next start. As the day progresses, each trail becomes more challenging, pushing both your physical and mental limits.

The challenge is simple:
Finish each 5K within the 45-minute time limit.
Arrive at the next starting line before the scheduled start time.
Miss the cutoff or fail to be at the next start on time, and your challenge ends.

Think you have what it takes to conquer all three trails?
Participation is limited to 100 registrants, so don't wait to claim your spot.

Awards for top finisher prizes will be presented to the top two overall finishers in each of the following categories:

  • Male
  • Female
  • Nonbinary

Cost: 
Early Bird: August 6th - August 10th - $80 
Open Registration: August 11th - March 31st - $95
Not to Late April 1st - June 24th - $105
Still time: June 25th - July 24th - $120

Pinless • Cupless • Paperless
The Puyallup Trail Challenge is committed to sustainable racing. This event is pinless, cupless, and paperless to help reduce waste and protect the beautiful Pacific Northwest trails we enjoy.
Pinless: Use a bib belt or BibBoards instead of disposable safety pins.
Cupless: Bring your own reusable hydration bottle, vest, or handheld flask.
Paperless: All race information, results, and participant communications are delivered digitally.
