About this race

What better way to celebrate the start of Independence day than running/ walking a 5k in Red, White, & Blue? 

Join us July 3rd for Hazards annual sparkler 5k run/walk!

Race start will be at Appalchian Art Station (612 Main St Hazard, KY)

Registration check-in opens at 7p

Race kick-off at 8p

Then join us port-race for an after party with your friends and family. We will have food, drinks, music and games! 

Join fellow runners on July 3, 2026 for the Queen City Sparkler 5k. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Hazard.
