1/2 Marathon Run/Walk

The Quilcene Oyster Half Marathon is a USATF Certified and Sanctioned Event. The course covers 13.11 miles and features views overlooking Hood Canal and Quilcene Bay, plus a peek at the Olympic Mountains (weather permitting). The Half Marathon has a total ascent of 1019 ft and has a maximum elevation of 699 ft. It is hilly and challenging, but totally worth it! **There is an optional (but strongly recommended) early start at 8:00 a.m. for Half Marathon walkers only.** Anyone remaining on the course at the 12:30 closure time may be asked to accept a ride back to the field.

The Quilcene Oyster 10K race is 6.17 miles and is a USATF Certified and Sanctioned Event. The course has hilly portions and features beautiful views of Quilcene Bay, farms and forests. It has a total ascent of 200 ft. and a maximum elevation of 131 ft.

The Quilcene Oyster 5K Race (formerly known as the Ranger Run) is a 3.11-mile "out and back" course along Quilcene Bay. Perfect for a fun run or walk! Count on beautiful views and fresh breezes. Don't like hills? You will love this course. The total ascent is 105 ft and the maximum elevation is 79 ft. This course begins and ends on a level grassy field, and most of the distance is on paved country roads. It may be suitable for participants who use wheelchairs. Baby strollers welcome! No dogs, please.
