Stay Healthy (both Mentally & Physically) during this COVID-19 social distancing preventative time... Enjoy your time with your pups while helping us continue to raise awareness about Degenerative Myelopathy. From: Saturday, March 21st, 2020 thru Sunday, April 12th, 2020 Location: Virtual (in your own home/city) All Breeds of PUPS welcome... Distance of WALK: Any distance that is appropriate for you, your pup & your area (If your city recommends that you stay home, you can still participate with a good game of Bally in the house or yard) PUP RULES: Since this one is all VIRTUAL we don't have any specific rules, just make sure your owner brings treats & poop bags! ************************************ AWARDS: 1. Overall DRAWING for ONE participant to be the WINNER of an AWESOME #SHADEOUTDM prize! 2. Largest TEAM 3. Largest Rescue TEAM 4. Best TEAM SPIRIT (top 5 will go into a DRAWING) ************************************ WARRIOR TEAMS We encourage everyone to WALK for a DM pup! You can start your own TEAM or Join an existing WARRIOR TEAM. Teams are encouraged to make signs & color coordinate to make their Team easily recognized! ************************************ EVERYONE will Participate Virtually Register as if you will be attending physically (even start or join a Team!) Then post your pics on our FB event page! You don't HAVE to actually WALK for this one but if you choose to, you can even use https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/create/ to map your WALK if you want.
