About this race
The 2026 Race for Campus Safety will be held on October 17, 2026. Register early to take advantage of the early-bird rate for 2026! In 2025, we had over 1,000 participants come together as a community for our race and festival supporting awareness efforts for campus safety, and we can’t wait to see you there this year. Choose from 1K, 5K, or 10K routes, meet and greet with mascots, and create or join a team!

Join fellow runners on October 4, 2025 for the Race for Campus Safety - Pullman, Washington. It's a fantastic 1K, 5K, 10K featuring a flat and fast course in Pullman.

Running
1K - Kids 12 and Under
Course will be two laps around a loop in around the Veterinary School parking lot and adjoining park, starting and finishing at the 5K/10K course start/finish. For safety, we will be starting children 12-and-under at 10:00 AM, and then registrants older than 12 will line up and start ~ 2 minutes after the children after allowing them time to spread out on the course. The 1K will be timed, but there will be no time-based awards. All children 12 and under will receive a medal and participation certificate.
1K - Over 12

5K
A fun, scenic, and challenging tour of the WSU campus following approximately 2/3 paved streets and about 1/3 graded gravel road. You might even see grizzly bears!
10K
A fun, scenic, and challenging tour of the WSU campus following approximately 2/3 paved streets and about 1/3 graded gravel road. You might even see grizzly bears! 10K runners will do two complete loops of the 5K course.
