Race for Reading 5k & Fun Run
About this race
This is a timed 5K run/walk at Potawatomi Wildlife Park in Tippecanoe, IN. The course goes through parts of the park including a nice wooded area and prairie. This year, once again, we are partnering with the park for their fall fest. In addition to the run there will be fun activities, food and a fall movie for the family!
Awards will be given for the top male/female finisher in each age group and the top 3 overall finishers will receive Amazon gift cards! The first 3 finishers of the Fun Run will also receive an award and Amazon gift cards!
Age Groups: 15 & under, 16-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55+
The proceeds of the race will be divided and given to our Young Authors Conference and Books for Babies program. The YAC brings a local author or illustrator to an area school for a fun and informative presentation on the profession. All area kids are invited to join. Books for Babies provides two new books to newborns born in Bremen Hospital. Information about the importance of early literacy is also given to the parents.

*5K will start right after the Fun Run is over, approximately at 5:00 p.m.
*Race Day registration fee for 5K $25 without a T-shirt guarantee.
*Race Day registration for Fun Run $15 without a T-shirt guarantee.
