About this race

The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to present our 17th Anniversary Race of the Runways at the Flagler Executive Airport.   This is a unique evening 5K where participants run or walk along illuminated airport runways under the searchlight of a circling helicopter.  Join us Saturday evening, February 27, 2027 at 5:30 PM.  

Participants are encouraged to add to the fun by wearing glow-in-the-dark clothing and accessories.  Light-up costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.  Please, no glow sticks.

Kiddie Dash      $5 (Does not include t-shirt)

Tee Shirts
Only the first 500 pre-registered runners who successfully complete the registration and payment process by February 6 will be guaranteed a free race T-shirt. There may be T-Shirts available on race day, but availability and sizes are not guaranteed.  Excludes Kiddie Dash participants.

Parking
Free parking available at the airport.  

Timing and Scoring - See age group breakdown below. 
Whether walking or running, participants will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to their numbered Bib.

Finisher Medals
Participants receive finisher medal

Dogs
Because this is an airport dogs are not allowed to participate in the event.

We welcome families with strollers in the event.
