This year, we celebrate something truly special-10 incredible years of Ava’s Voice creating opportunities for individuals and families in the Usher syndrome community. And what better way to celebrate than on Camp T-Shirt Day and Ava's 20th birthday, a day where we proudly wear our camp shirts as a symbol of the family we’ve built together-our home away from home, USHthis Summer Youth Camp.

Whether you race or host an awareness event for your community to "walk in your shoes" wear your favorite camp t-shirt proudly to show how important programs like USHthis are for kids with Usher syndrome! 

We’re inviting you, our campers, mentors, families, and Ava’s Voice believers, to join us in raising awareness and sharing the impact this camp has had on your life. Use your voice to tell your story: what USHthis Camp means to you and educate your local community about Usher syndrome. Your story has the power to inspire others and to ensure camp is available for the next decade!

Together, we’re working towards the biggest of BIG goal: raising funds for USHthis2026 camp, the 10th program of our peer mentor model. At camp, participants not only learn strategies and skills for independence, but also set personal goals, explore career interests, they find the confidence to pursue their future dreams, and most importantly they make connections that last a lifetime!

Every dollar raised directly supports camp and proceeds beyond our goal will help us continue growing future programming. Your support, your story, and your voice make the difference.
