Rams Let's Walk: A 5k Run & Walk to Support Student-Athlete Mental Health Initiatives
About this race
The seventh annual Rams Let's Walk 5k will be held on Sunday, September 21st, 2025 at 9am to raise funds and awareness for West Chester University student-athlete mental health. WCU students, staff, faculty, family, friends, and community members are encouraged to rally with us in support of our student-athletes through participation in the 5k race or 1 mile walk.
The purpose of the race is to:
- Raise funds to benefit WCU student-athletes, providing new and additional resources toward mental health initiatives
- Raise awareness surrounding mental health, including suicide prevention awareness
- Provide mental health education and resources
Mental health and suicide prevention awareness are topics near and dear to WCU Athletics, affecting our WCU student-athletes and community directly. It's important to bring light to such sensitive topics in order to normalize the conversation, unify our community, and validate the necessity for providing resources and support to student-athletes. Join us in our movement and register today!
T-shirts are only guaranteed if registered before 8/31/2025!!!
