About this race
Join REACH GREEN and Tree Boston for our first partner event in Boston!
REACH GREEN (reachgreen.org) is a Boston-based nonprofit focused on connecting participatory and endurance athletes with green space protection. We channel people’s passion for sport into tangible environmental impact by enabling them to do what they already love, running, cycling or walking, while raising funds for green space preservation, restoration, and creation. Tree Boston (treeboston.org) is an organization dedicated to expanding Boston’s urban tree canopy in under-resourced communities through tree planting, tree care, and education. Together, we are inviting you to join us for a stair climbing challenge at the Harvard Stadium (37 sections, 1,147 steps) where every step you climb will lead to trees and tree care in Boston. Before the climb, participants will collect donation pledges from friends, family, and other supporters. Donations can be a one-time amount or based on the number of stadium sections completed (for example, $1 per section would equal $37 for the full climb). Funds raised will support Tree Boston and their work to protect and expand accessible green spaces in Boston.
