About this race

Welcome to the Red Bird Fun Run!

Join us on October 10, 2026, at The Christmas Village in Huntsville, Texas, for the inaugural Red Bird Fun Run benefiting the Red Bird Community Foundation.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, casual walker, or cheering from the sidelines, this event is designed for the entire family. Participants can choose between a timed 5K Run or a 1-Mile Walk/Kids Run while enjoying a fun morning focused on community, health, and supporting local youth.

Event Schedule

8:00 AM – Check-In Opens 
9:00 AM – 5K Run Begins 
9:00 AM – 1-Mile Walk/Kids Run Begins 
Post-Race Celebration

About the Red Bird Community Foundation

The Red Bird Community Foundation exists to support and invest in the youth of Walker County. Through events like the Red Bird Fun Run, we are working to create opportunities that strengthen our community and help young people thrive.
