Join us for a magical summer evening Friday July 25th, 7:30 pm at Wiley Post Park!
As the sun sets, the path comes alive with laughter, and the joyful buzz of friends and families running and walking together along the riverfront. Whether you're racing, running for fun, or just soaking in the festive vibes, this all-ages event is the perfect way to celebrate your summer evening. After crossing the finish line, stick around for beverages and tacos served up fresh by Tacos El Paso food truck. Light up the night by sporting glo gear for our costume contest. Make memories, and wrap up summer with a dash of fitness and a whole lot of fun!
Join fellow runners on July 25, 2025 for the Red Coyote Summer Sunset 5K. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Oklahoma City.

5K RUN/WALK
The 5K Run is on an out and back course on the south river trail! The route is flat to gently rolling and suitable for runners of all abilities.
5K PUSHCHAIR
This division is for the athletes riding in pushchairs supported by organizations like Team Hoyt Oklahoma, Ainsley's Angels, and the Oklahoma City Landrunners. Athletes who are serving as "pushers" should register in the regular 5K Run to be included in the open division.
5K VIRTUAL RUN
Can't be with us on race day but still want to be part of the fun? Do the run on your own time and post your results from race day March 16th to Sunday March 23rd. While we aren't able to mail packets, you or a friend can pick up your packet during the normal times. Simply let us know that you'll be running virtually and we'll get you a finisher medal as well!
