“Learn to Run!” Beginner Level program. Walkers welcome
8 weeks on Tuesdays March 30-May 18 6:00-7:00 p.m. This class is designed to prepare a beginning or returning runner or walker to complete a 5K at the end of ten weeks. Registration will be held Monday, March 30th at Betty Virginia Park, 3901 Fairfield Ave, Shreveport, LA 71106 with training starting inside the park.
“Learn to Run!” Advanced Level Program
8 weeks on Thursdays April 1-May 20 5:45-6:45 p.m. This class is designed to assist experienced runners improve their speed and endurance during the ten weeks. Suggested entry level is a base of 9+ miles/week and the ability to run 2 miles without stopping. The first class and registration will be held Thursday, April 1st at Walker Park near Brookshires Grocery Arena (formerly known as CenturyLink) in Bossier. Later classes will be held at a variety of locations.
