The Redemption Race is about personal resilience. It is for anyone ready to begin the year by showing up for themselves.
No perfect pace required.
No fitness level required.
No explanation required.
Just show up.
YOUR YEAR STARTS HEREThere is something powerful about standing at a starting line on the first morning of the year.
Everyone begins at zero.
The experienced runner.
The first-time walker.
The person chasing a PR.
The person trying to get active again.
The person who simply decided that this year would begin differently.
On January 1, we start together.
THE EXPERIENCEIt is a celebration of fresh starts, second chances, comeback stories, and the decision to keep moving forward.
Expect an energetic race-day atmosphere, premium event gear, a meaningful finisher medal, music, community, and plenty of moments worth remembering.
Whether you finish in 20 minutes or 60, the accomplishment is the same:

THE 21-DAY SHOW-UP CHALLENGEYou don’t have to wait until January 1 to begin.
Registered participants will have the opportunity to join our free 21-Day Show-Up Challenge, designed to help you build momentum before race morning.
No complicated training plan.
No daily mileage requirement.
No pressure to be perfect.
Just 21 days of intentionally showing up for yourself.
Walk.
Run.
Stretch.
Lift.
Move.
Start building the habit before you ever reach the starting line.
Participants will receive:
- A free 21-Day Show-Up & Accountability Tracker
- Weekly encouragement and motivation
- Simple prompts to help you stay consistent
- Access to the Redemption Community
- Support from other people working toward their own fresh start
- The first step isn’t the race. It’s showing up.
The race will be held in Westside Park. Atlanta's largest greenspace. There is plenty of parking and a scenic route for all participants.
All 5K participants receive Redemption T-shirt & Finisher Medal.
Race will be chip timed - set a baseline or beat your personal best.
It is a great event that just needs YOU to make it special. Take the leap and bring a friend.
