Join Us on April 16 & 17, 2027!
Run, celebrate, and make memories at the 14th annual Rivertown Races!
Whether you’re tackling your first 5K, stepping up to the 10K, taking on the Half Marathon, or chasing a new personal best, Rivertown Races offers something for runners of all experience levels. Plus, young runners can join the fun with a special kids event the evening before race day.
Starting and finishing at the Meadows of Millennium Park in Grand Rapids, the course takes runners across roads, paved trails, and bridges while showcasing beautiful lakes, wetlands, and rolling terrain.
This year, we are excited to announce that the Rivertown Races will be presented by our friends at Striders!

Rivertown Kids (1 mile fun run)
We are excited to bring back our Rivertown Kids Fun Run! This fun run will be an untimed, competitive run designed to give kids a positive experience and introduction to the sport of running. Kids will get to experience the feel of the start line, the sense of accomplishment after completing a significant effort, and the thrill of the finish line...all this without the added pressure of performance. Don’t get us wrong, we love to win and love to see people push themselves. This just is not that type of event. Each participant will get a shirt, a medal, and a bib. Parents or older siblings are welcome to run with the kids.
