Rock the Boat 5K
About this race
SYC Rock the Boat is a 5K (3.1 mile) Run/Walk near Cozy Harbor on Southport Island, Maine. Southport Yacht Club famililes, sailing program families and community members are encouraged to participate. Pick up your race t-shirt and bib on the deck at SYC on Friday, August 1 from 9:00-10:00 am or 3:00-5:00 pm. If you can't make it on Friday, we will have your shirt and bib ready on Saturday morning.
- We reserve the right to cancel the race and refund participants if we don't have a minimum of 100 participants.
- Strollers and babies are welcome
- No refunds will be given for any reason
- The race will be held regardless of the weather
- Please walk or ride bikes to the race as parking is limited
- The race will be professionally timed by Randy Easter/Bart Timing of Auburn
- There is an added $10 fee per registration on the day of

- Race proceeds will benefit the Southport Junior Yacht Club Sailing Foundation
- If you have a coupon, the discounted price won't show until you are ready to pay

SYC Rock the Boat 5K
T-shirts will be available to all participants who register by Wednesday, July 22nd at midnight. Later in the registration process, you will have a chance to donate your t-shirt. It will still require a t-shirt size but the donation acceptance question will override the shirt choice. Bib and t-shirt pick up are Friday, July 31 from 9:00-10:00 am or 3:00-5:00 pm at Southport Yacht Club. You can also pick up your t-shirt and bib on the morning of the race.
