Don't have a recreational pass? During registration process you will be guided in signup Waiver 3 to complete a Visitor Pre-Registration form for RACE DAY access only. This will apply to race participants.
Rocketman is North Alabama’s Premier Olympic Distance Race. Presented by Team Rocket Tri Club.
Rocketman 2026 is a traditional Olympic distance of 1500 meter swim (1640 yards), 40 km bike (25 miles), 10 km run (6.1 miles). Triathletes will start and finish at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area Redstone Arsenal.
In order to participate in this event, you are required to have a valid reason/need for accessing the installation and be registered in the Automated Installation Entry (AIE) System. Individuals with Department of Defense (DoD) issued Identification Cards are automatically registered in the AIE system the first time the Common Access Card or ID is scanned at the installation gates. Non-DoD personnel must register in AIE at the installation Visitor Control Center (VCC) outside Gate 9.
If you currently DO NOT have access to Redstone Arsenal, you may apply early (in person) for a yearly Recreation Badge prior to the race. For more info on the process:

Rocketman 2026 is a traditional Olympic distance of 1500 meter swim (1640 yards), 40 km bike (25 miles), 10 km run (6.1 miles). Triathletes will start and finish at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area Redstone Arsenal.
Rocketman Tri-Relay
Rocketman is North Alabama’s Premier Olympic Distance Race. Presented by Team Rocket Tri Club. Rocketman 2026 is a traditional Olympic distance of 1500 meter swim (1640 yards), 40 km bike (25 miles), 10 km run (6.1 miles). Triathletes will start and finish at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area Redstone Arsenal. Relay teams can have up to 3 participates.
Rocketman Aqua-Bike
Rocketman is North Alabama’s Premier Olympic Distance Race. Presented by Team Rocket Tri Club. Rocketman Aqua Bike 2026 is a distance of 1500 meter swim (1640 yards), 40 km bike (25 miles). Athletes will start and finish at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area Redstone Arsenal. Participants will forgo the run portion of the event.
Rocketman Collegiate
Rocketman is North Alabama’s Premier Olympic Distance Race. Presented by Team Rocket Tri Club. Rocketman 2026 is a traditional Olympic distance of 1500 meter swim (1640 yards), 40 km bike (25 miles), 10 km run (6.1 miles). Triathletes will start and finish at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area Redstone Arsenal. This division is for Military (active or retired). Proof of service will be required at packet pickup.
Rocketman Cyclo-Run
Rocketman is North Alabama’s Premier Olympic Distance Race. Presented by Team Rocket Tri Club. Rocketman Cyclo Run 2026 is a 40 km bike (25 miles), 10 km run (6.1 miles). Athletes will start and finish at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area Redstone Arsenal. Participants will forgo the swim portion of the event.
Rocketman Military

Rocketman Aqua-Pod
Rocketman is North Alabama’s Premier Olympic Distance Race. Presented by Team Rocket Tri Club. Rocketman Aqua Pod 2026 is a distance of 1500 meter swim (1640 yards), 10 km run (6.1 miles). Athletes will start and finish at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area Redstone Arsenal. Participants will forgo the bike leg portion of this event and begin the run course.
