About the Event

Join us to run for those who are running the road to recovery from alcoholism and addiction. The Run for Recovery 5K supports the 24th Street Clubhouse - the heart of recovery in the Athens area. More than 30 12-step groups meet here each week. By entering our race, you will ensure that  this safe space remains available to those who need support. Donations are also gladly accepted. Awards for age groups, snacks and hydration will be available.

Join fellow runners on May 17, 2026 for the Run for Recovery 5K. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Athens.
