About the Event

Join us on Sunday, June 7, 2026, for the Run for RMC 5K & 1-Mile Run/Walk at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts — a meaningful community event held in memory of Antonio Angel Ortiz and in support of renal medullary carcinoma awareness.

🎉 Event Experience

Participants and attendees can enjoy:

  • Professional Chip-Timed 5K race
  • Food trucks
  • Music
  • Face painting
  • A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere

Whether you're running, walking, or supporting, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

🧡 Why We Run

This event honors the life and legacy of Antonio “Tactical Tone” Ortiz while raising awareness of renal medullary carcinoma (RMC) — a rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer that primarily affects young individuals.  At just 24 years old, Antonio was strong, active, and full of life. He loved cooking, the outdoors, and always showed up for others.

After losing him to RMC, we made a commitment to ensure his legacy continues to create impact. Through this event, we hope to bring people together in support, remembrance, awareness, and action.

Proceeds from this event will directly support the Tactical Tone Memorial Foundation’s mission — raising awareness of renal medullary carcinoma, supporting individuals and families impacted by RMC, and helping fund future programs, outreach, and research efforts in Antonio’s memory.

Our Motto - 🧡 No One Gets Left Behind

🌳 The Course

  • 1-Mile Accessible Run/Walk - A shorter, accessible option welcoming families with strollers, young children, and participants who prefer a shorter distance.
