How it works: Run for your type 1 hero! You can support critical patient care at the Barbara Davis Center by walking or running for your type 1 and setting up a custom fundraising page to invite family and friends to. 1. Create a team or register as an individual and let the summer fun begin. 2. Choose a time and location - a local park, a close trail or a neighborhood pathway. While we encourage you to run/walk when it is convenient for you prior to race day, we will be having special coverage of the event throughout the day on August 1. All registered participants receive: • Customizable fundraising page with a personalized URL with a message about your journey with type 1 diabetes • Official 2020 “Running for my T1D” printable bib to show support for your type 1 • Access to our virtual exhibitor village and exclusive email offers from sponsors
