Looking for FUN and a bit of ADVENTURE??! Well, look no further!
Our 5th Annual "Run For The Widows and Orphans 5K" will take place on the property of the founder of 'All For His Glory Ministries.'
Come out to this picturesque property--just outside of Rockmart--for a trail run that is chocked full of fun for the entire family.
THIS YEAR, WE ARE AGAIN PROVIDING TWO (2) ROUTE OPTIONS: a) traditional ROAD 5K, or b) a TRAIL 5K--while a bit more challenging, this beautiful course has been created by cutting wide swaths of grassy paths for the runners to meander through. These trails have been strategically-carved out to ensure a fun, family oriented end of summer run. Come see what it's all about.
100% of the funds received will go to building homes and providing meals for widows and orphans with our partner Manna Ministries in Kisumu, Kenya.

REGISTRATION:
$40 Pre-Registration Fee We are ordering PLENTY of extra t-shirts, and those leftover we will take to Africa to give out.$50 Day-of-Race Registration
AWARDS:
Awards for both the ROAD 5K and the TRAIL 5K are the same; each race will have the following awards presented:
- Top 3 Overall Males
- Top 3 Overall Females
- Top 3 Masters Males
- Top 3 Masters Females
- Top 3 Males & Females in each of the following Age Categories:
- 10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over
PARKING: There is plenty of parking on the property near the Start/Finish area.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a rain or shine event.

Run for the Widows & Orphans ROAD 5K
This 5K Road Race goes out to the surrounding roads in rural Rockmart, contain a few gentle hills, and is essentially an out-n-back configuration. It is considered relatively-flat.
Trail running
Run for the Widows & Orphans TRAIL 5K
This 5K Trail Race goes through a wooded area with a few hills before emerging and doing a series of switchbacks in a manicured field. It is considered relatively-challenging.
