Run through Middletown neighborhoods with your favorite Middletown run club to see the awesome local Halloween displays!
This is not a race, just a group run with our run club. It is open to the public! So even if you are not in our run club, come join us for some Halloween fun!
5k:
We will have turn by turn directions to pass out to everyone doing the 5k, and there will be chalk arrows on the ground. This is a very casual running/walking tour of some of the best halloween displays in Middletown Ohio! We encourage you to take a selfie with the displays and tag us in a post on Facebook or Instagram! We will share your photos on the event page!
Scavenger Hunt:
This year we are changing the challenge up a little!
We will be picking the top 5 Halloween displays in all of Middletown. To complete the challenge you must visit every display we have marked on the map. These will be spread out in different Middletown Neighborhoods. We will have the house addresses, you can use your phone to look them up, but NO turn by turn directions or arrow markings. Just take a selfie with each display and show us your strava/tracker app when you are done.
(Note the scavenger hunt could be upwards of 8-10 miles depending on how you run it!)
Prizes:
Anyone who completes the Scavenger Hunt Challenge will get a special prize! The fastest challenge time will win a trophy.
Shirts:
Shirts must be pre-ordered by October 10th.
(Run club members who have filled out their membership cards at least once this year will receive a complimentary shirt, but must give Kenzie your size before the cutoff date)
Preordered shirts will be available only the night of the run at Sunset Park for pick up!
