The scenic 5K course will circle around Hermann Park’s historic live oaks. The run consists of a 5K run, 3K walk, a 1K kids' fun run, and post-race party in Molly Ann Smith Plaza. Whether you are a weekend jogger, competitive runner, or just like to walk with friends and family, Run in the Park is an event you do not want to miss! Course Description -- The race begins and ends in Hermann Park at the Molly Ann Smith Plaza between McGovern Lake and the Jones Reflection Pool. Corporate and Team Rates Whether you are a weekend jogging team, or a corporation getting together an employee wellness event, teams of more than 10 participants will receive a discount. PACKET PICKUP SCHEDULE: Saturday Nov 4, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. @Fleet Feet in Rice Village - 2408 Rice Blvd., 77005 Tuesday, Nov 7, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. @Hermann Park Conservancy's Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion - 1500 Hermann Drive, 77004 We strongly recommend you register and pick up your packet in advance as race day registration is hectic and does not guarantee your preferred shirt size. The most important things included with the packet are race number bib (with a bib chip for 5K runners) and t-shirt. You may send someone else to pick up your packet for you. It is recommended that they have a copy of your receipt for online registration and know the exact name used for registration. T-shirts -- Cotton race-specific T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered participants. DIRECTIONS/PARKING You may enter Hermann Park at Montrose and Main streets near the Mecom Fountain and continue towards the Sam Houston Monument onto Hermann Park Drive. While parking is available in all lots inside the Park, the closest lot to the run start is Lot G, the Park’s main parking lot between the train station and the zoo. You can also ride METRORail to the Park. Molly Ann Smith Plaza is located between the Jones Reflection Pool and McGovern Lake on the west side of Miller Outdoor Theatre. You can still run, but you will not receive a timing chip.
