Lace up and kick off your boots for Run Local 5K powered by Germania Insurance, a community-first event built for those who know the value of hard work, strong roots, and giving back.

Around here, we’re used to putting in the hours with our boots on, but for one morning, we’re swapping boots off, shoes on to come together as a community and make a difference. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just in it for the experience, this event is designed for everyone as a trail course (on the road and on grass trails). 

Hosted at Germania’s Home Office in Brenham, this inaugural 5K invites families, neighbors, and local supporters to enjoy a scenic course and a high-energy, small-town atmosphere rooted in community pride.

More importantly, every step supports something bigger. All proceeds from the race will directly benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County, helping invest in programs and opportunities for local youth.

From the starting line to the finish, you’ll be part of something meaningful, where community comes first, and every mile makes an impact.
