Running
5K
The gun for the 5 km race will fire at 9 AM in front of Good Earth Market on 2nd Avenue North between North 30th Street and North 31st Street. Course Description: The 5K begins on 2nd Ave. North between 30th and 31st Street. Runners head east on 2nd Ave. North to Broadway, north on Broadway to 3rd Ave. North, west on 3rd Ave. North to Division, across Division onto Clark, west on Clark to 7th Street West, south on 7th to Yellowstone, east on Yellowstone to Division, across Division to 2nd Ave. North, east on 2nd Ave. North to 32nd Street, north on 32nd to 3rd Ave North and east on 3rd to 29th Street, south on 29th to 2nd and east on 2nd to the finish at 31st Street. Walkers, please locate yourselves towards the rear of the start. Of course all movers and shakers from all ages and abilities are welcome to participate! Walk, jog, run, skip, hop, or wiggle your way through the course. After the finish of the 5 km race, all participants will given a collectable pint glass and token for one free locally brewed beer or soda as well as a wide selection of local breads, local bagels, local coffee, and an assortment of fruit.
Street Mile
The Street Mile is the RRCA Mile State Championship Race for 2013! The gun for the Street Mile will fire at 10:00 am in front of the Good Earth Market. Runners will start on 2nd Ave. North between 31st and 32nd and head west on 2nd Ave. North to Division, north on Division to 3rd Ave. North, east on 3rd to Broadway, south on Broadway to 2nd and west to the finish at 31st St. near the Good Earth Market for a fast Street Mile race. Walkers, please locate yourselves towards the rear of the start. Of course all movers and shakers from all ages and abilities are welcome to participate! Walk, jog, run, skip, hop, or wiggle your way through the course. 2nd Serving
This is for all you crazy Goblers that want to do the 5k at 9:00 AM and the Street Mile at 10:00 AM.
