About this race

Join us for the Run With Kenyans 5K Shakeout Run during Chicago Marathon weekend! Following our Dinner with Champions Night, runners of all abilities are invited to enjoy a relaxed community run alongside Kenyan athletes, marathon participants, and running enthusiasts.

This is not a timed race—it is an easy, social shakeout run designed to loosen the legs, connect with fellow runners, and celebrate the joy of running together.

Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: 150 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago, IL 60605
Distance: 5K

Proceeds from the event will support the RWK Run Abroad Initiative, including scholarships for Kenyan children participating in programs offered by the Charity Course for Kenyan Kids Foundation.

Come run with champions, connect with the community, and help create life-changing educational opportunities for Kenyan youth.

Run together. Inspire others. Make an impact.
