Running Lab Kids Run Club
About this race
Running Lab Kids Run Club is a 6-week summer running club for kids entering 1st through 6th grades for the 2026-2027 school year. The program is designed to introduce young runners in Livingston County to the joy of running through skill development, fun games, and supportive coaching.
Over the course of six weeks, participants will learn the basics of running including warm-ups and cool-downs, stretching, Good Form Running, and more. Each session will include a mix of running activities, drills, and games designed to keep kids moving, learning, and having fun.
Kids Run Club will conclude with a final race day (August 5th), where participants will celebrate their progress by completing either a 1-mile or 2-mile race depending on their age group. Parents, keep your shoes ready to go on August 5th - we may have an opportunity for you to race as well!
Our goal is simple: to create a passion for running within kids in Livingston County and promote fun, healthy lifestyles that can last a lifetime.
