About this race
The 13th annual Kaiser Permanente Running of the Elk 5K, 10K & Kids’ Fun Runs starts and finishes at District56 in the heart of Elk Grove, CA. Help us support Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation by participating in this year’s event!
Join fellow runners on March 28, 2027 for the Running of the Elk. It's a fantastic 5K, 10K, 0.8K featuring a flat and fast course in Elk Grove.

5K Adult
3.1 mile (in person) run or walk. Entry fee includes bib number, race timing, microfiber t-shirt, goody bag, and finisher's medal.
10K Adult
6.2 mile (in person) run or walk. Entry fee includes bib number, race timing, microfiber t-shirt, goody bag, and finisher's medal.
10K Youth
6.2 mile (in person) run or walk. Entry fee includes bib number, race timing, microfiber t-shirt, goody bag, and finisher's medal.
5K Youth
3.1 mile (in person) run or walk. Entry fee includes bib number, race timing, microfiber t-shirt, goody bag, and finisher's medal.
Kids Fun Run
1/2 and 1/4 mile noncompetitive fun runs for ages 12 and under. Entry fee includes a cotton t-shirt, goody bag, and finisher's medal. The kids fun runs are not timed or scored and finish rankings are not kept.
