This event will be offering Age Group Awards! In addition to scoring all of the great swag listed above, the top 3 finishers M/F in each age category also receive a custom age-group award!
5-Year Categories: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
BLITZ Registration Opens July 15th, 2026 @ 12 Noon
Running with Yeti 5K & Yeti Double Dare is set for Saturday, December 19, 2026. To be held at Lopez Park. Overflow parking lots will be available for this event, so that means FREE Parking!
All asphalt surfaces for a smooth & super-fast race.
Runners, walkers, and strollers of all levels are welcome to Run with Yeti.
Race Perks Include:
Custom Yeti 5K Finisher Medal for ALL Finishers. Custom Yeti DOUBLE DARE medal will also be given to all participants running in both Wave #1 & Wave #2
Great Race Shirt in gender-specific sizes. Register early to get your guaranteed shirt size; no guarantees after 11-1-26.

Enjoy: Fresh Hot pancakes and sausage off the Blackstone grills or Nathan's steaming hot dogs on a soft bun
Professional Photographers will be on-site taking 1,000s of pictures of you on the course and enjoying the festivities during the afterparty. All pictures will be uploaded to the site and available for you to download for FREE!
Finish Line videos will be taken of all runners and can be viewed in the results area that shows your finish times.
Plenty of snacks, drinks, and hot food will be available starting at 8:00 am
Hot Chocolate never tasted so good. Will take the chill away instantly!
NOTHING BUNDT CAKES will be on site serving you some tasty treats.

5K Run/Walk The Day of Registration & Packet Pickup starts at 6:15 am Participants run both 5K events & receive the 5K finisher medal and the DOUBLE Dare medal for running both 5K's. Wave #1 - Starts at 7:30 am Wave #2 - Starts at 8:30 am Yeti Double Dare - Sign up for the DOUBLE Dare and you will be running in both 5K events. You will use the same bib for both events, and the bib will say DOUBLE Dare.
