RunTough for Team Owen
About this race
In 2020, six-year-old Owen fought bravely against DIPG, an aggressive and incurable brain tumor after a nearly six-month battle. Join us in honoring his strength and infectious giggle in hopes of creating a brighter outcome for other kiddos who face this terrible disease.
Run with us on September 12th, 2026. This run is virtual, you can run wherever you like! More info will be sent about the logistics of the virtual run after registration. We're also aiming for some fun surprises for those who run locally, so stay tuned for more details!

All proceeds will go to ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation, whose mission is to inspire and fund game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

RUN TOUGH FOR TEAM OWEN
On September 26, 2020, anywhere you are, any time you choose, simply take a 5K or 1-Mile run or walk – around your neighborhood, on a treadmill, wherever. The goal is, yes, to raise funds, but also to raise as much awareness across our networks as we can, so we hope you will consider posting photos of your participation on your social networks. We won’t have Team Owen social pages, so we hope you can help to spread this story with us.
