Sami Strong Family Fun Night & Glow Remembrance Walk
About this race
Sami Strong Family Fun Night & Glow Remembrance Walk
Saturday, November 14, 2026
Charlotte Preparatory School
Join us for an unforgettable evening of family fun, community, and hope at the Sami Strong Family Fun Night & Glow Remembrance Walk, benefiting the Sami Faith Foundation.
This year's event marks an exciting new tradition as we transition from our annual 5K to a family-friendly evening designed for all ages and abilities. Bring your family and friends to enjoy food, games, music, local vendors, children's activities, and more before we gather together for a meaningful 1-Mile Glow Remembrance Walk.
As the sun sets, participants will light up the night with glow accessories as we walk in honor of those we have lost, celebrate those courageously living with Stage IV breast cancer, and stand alongside the families continuing the fight. Whether you're walking in memory of a loved one, supporting someone currently battling cancer, or simply joining to make a difference, your presence helps bring hope to our community.
All proceeds benefit the Sami Faith Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to sharing the love of Christ while providing financial assistance and encouragement to local families facing Stage IV breast cancer.
Come make memories, celebrate life, and help us shine a light of hope for families who need it most.

Walking
1-Mile Glow Remembrance Walk
Our 1-Mile Glow Remembrance Walk is all about coming together as a community to celebrate, remember, and support local families affected by Stage IV (metastatic) breast cancer. Wear your favorite glow gear... glow sticks, light-up accessories, or anything that shines and help us light up the night! To show your support for the metastatic breast cancer community, we encourage participants to wear PINK, GREEN, and TEAL. This is a non-competitive, family-friendly walk, so everyone is welcome to participate at their own pace. Strollers, wagons, and participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join us as we walk together in honor of loved ones, in celebration of survivors, and in support of those currently fighting.
