Sankalpa 5K Run and 2K Walk
About this race
Sankalpa, in collaboration with Plainsboro Township, is organizing the annual 5K Run/2K Walk for the fourth year. Noteworthy is the fact that last year, Sankalpa generously donated the proceeds to the township. Join us in making a positive impact by participating in this event scheduled on June 6th(Rain date June 7th 2026), and actively supporting your community.
Sankalpa was founded on May 30th, 2019 (www.sankalpausa.org) with a mission to inspire healthier and sustainable local communities in Middlesex and Mercer County. This New Jersey-based non-profit is a non-political and non-sectarian organization primarily engaged in environment-related activities that directly or indirectly improve the quality of life in our community.

Sankalpa 5K Run
Run Starts : 9:00 AM From parking lot near dog park Run Ends: 10:00 AM The starting point and the endpoint will be near the dog park or Playground on Park Dr so that there will be more use of the community park The track will follow Park Drive onto Scotts Corner Road and then turn around near the intersection of Friendship Rd and Broadway Rd. There would be cones at the turnaround 5K will consist of 2 loops. The start and end points will be the same near dog park.
Walking

Walk starts : 08:30 AM From parking lot near dog park Walk ends : 09:00 AM The starting point and the endpoint will be near the dog park or Playground on Park Dr so that there will be more use of the community park The track will follow Park Drive onto Scotts Corner Road and then turn around near the intersection of Friendship Rd and Broadway Rd. There would be cones at the turnaround 2K walk is 1 loop. The start and end points will be the same near the dog park.
