Scary Scurry Kids Fun Run & 5K
About this race
FVSBank, Mercury Marine, and Hopper’s are excited to promote the Annual Scary Scurry Kids Fun Run & 5k at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 10, 2026. This family-friendly event, benefitting the Fond du Lac County United Way, encourages all participants to stay and enjoy the day and enjoy Fond du Lac Festival’s Falltoberfest.
Bring your families and register your children for the 1/2 mile run. There will be LOTS of fun family-friendly and kid activities during the Fond du Lac Festivals Falltoberfest.
Event Details: The 5k begins at 8:30am and the Kids Fun Run begins at 9:30 am for the 1/2 mile fun run (12 and under). There will be snacks and beverages immediately following the race, and awards for top runners (by age, gender, and overall). The entire course is paved - Strollers are encouraged! Please, no pets.
Online registration will close on 10/8 at 11:59pm. In-person registration will take place during bib pick up on Friday, October 9 and on race morning, Saturday, October 10. See location and times below. If you would like an event t-shirt you must register before Friday, September 25. There will be no t-shirts available after 9/25 or on race day.
Registration Bib Pickup: Registration bags will be available for pickup the evening before and morning of the race. Please have proof of registration available at pickup.

Awards: All participants in the kids fun run will receive a finisher's medal. The top male and top female finisher in the 5k will receive an award as well as the top male and top female in each age group (0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+).
