About this race
Join us on Thanksgiving day for a family fun event in downtown Frisco, TX. Friends, family and runners can enjoy a 5K, 10K or the Miracle Mile before sitting down for turkey time and holiday festivities. We hope to see everybody on Thanksgiving for a live event to Run First, Eat Later!
Join fellow runners on November 27, 2025 for the Scheels North Texas Turkey Trot. It's a fantastic 1.6K, 5K, 10K featuring a flat and fast course in Frisco.

Miracle Mile - 1 Mile Fun Run
In-Person packet pickup is required before the race. Any packets not picked up will not be mailed out post-race unless prior arrangements are made. If you are not able to join us in person, please participate in the virtual event listed below.
5K

10K
All 10K participants must maintain a 14 minute per mile pace. If participants do not meet this pace, they may be directed onto the 5K course in order to comply with permitting and road closure timelines. In-Person packet pickup is required before the race. Any packets not picked up will not be mailed out post-race unless prior arrangements are made. If you are not able to join us in person, please participate in the virtual event listed below.
Virtual Miracle Mile - 1 Mile Fun Run
All participants materials will be mailed to participants for arrival prior to Thanksgiving via USPS mail.
Virtual 5K or 10K
All participants materials will be mailed to participants for arrival prior to Thanksgiving via USPS mail. Emails will be sent to participants from Compton Time & Measure to upload results to online leaderboard.
