For the slightly less masochistic runner the 50 mile course (actually 53.8 miles) traverses some of the best portions of the 100-mile route. Scout Mountain Ultras 50k

The latest addition to the Scout Mountain Ultras weekend. The 50k is the most common ultra distance and we are very excited to offer this distance. The race covers some of the most beautiful areas around including Gibson Jack, West Fork and Scout Mountain. There is 7400' of ascent and descent making it a great mountain ultra to kick off your running season.

Scout Mountain Ultras 21 Mile

This is our favorite section of the course, a glorious loop that summits Scout Mountain. With over 5,400′ of gain (and loss) and the best single track of the whole event, this is one incredible loop. This part of the course will most certainly have some snow. With a strong winter, it could be heavily snow-covered.
