Sioux Falls Marathon
About the Event
The Sioux Falls Marathon, powered by Sanford Health and the Sioux Falls Sports Authority, features races for all levels of runners. Distances include the full marathon, half marathon, & 5K.
The full & half races feature downtown Sioux Falls, iconic Falls Park (for full and half) and many of the city's finest parks as well as the bike trail system.
A portion of the net proceeds from the Sioux Falls Marathon is donated to the Sanford Children's Miracle Network. The 2024 races raised more than $20,000 for children in our community.
Join fellow runners on September 20, 2026 for the Sioux Falls Marathon. It's a fantastic 5K, Marathon, Half-Marathon featuring a flat and fast course in Sioux Falls.
Races Offered
Running
DUAL RACE: Full Marathon & Miracle 5K
Full Marathon rate + half price of 5k Participants receive three medals for running two races: Full Medal, 5K Medal, and DUAL Medal NOTE: The Miracle 5K is on the SAME DAY as the Full Marathon. You will need to complete the Full Marathon in 3:30 to make the start of the Miracle 5K.
DUAL RACE: Half Marathon & Miracle 5K
Half Marathon rate + half price of 5k Participants receive three medals for running two races: Half Medal, 5K Medal, and DUAL Medal
Single Race: Full Marathon
The route is USATF certified and a Boston qualifier. This race will start and finish outdoors, beginning in the large parking lot east of Howard Wood Field and will finish on the track at Howard Wood Field. Live tracking will be provided by MTEC Results.
Single Race: Half Marathon
The Sioux Falls Half Marathon will start and finish outdoors, beginning in the large parking lot east of Howard Wood Field and will finish on the track at Howard Wood Field. Live tracking will be provided by MTEC Results.
Single Race: Miracle 5K
Finishes on the track at Howard Wood Field! Live tracking will be provided by MTEC Results.
