Smell and Taste Association of North America's Virtual 5K

Join us for the inaugural Smell and Taste Association of North America's Virtual 5K honoring World Taste and Smell Day on September 14, 2026.

Whether you walk, run, roll, or move in your own way, this virtual event is a chance to come together in support of smell and taste health. From wherever you are, you can help raise awareness of the importance of these often-overlooked senses and the impact smell and taste disorders have on daily life. You can complete your 5K at any point during the month of September 2026. 

Smell and taste are essential to safety, nutrition, memory, connection, and quality of life. Yet millions of people living with smell and taste dysfunction continue to face misunderstanding, delayed diagnosis, limited treatment options, and too little public awareness.

On World Taste and Smell Day, we invite you to move with purpose. Complete your 5K on your own schedule, in your own community, and help shine a light on why these senses matter! 

Together, we can raise awareness, spark conversation, and support a future where smell and taste are recognized as essential to health, safety, and well-being.
