About this race
Ring in the New Year!
The 15th Annual SnowFlake 5K run/walk benefiting the Nyack Community Ambulance Corps, People to People, and the Soup Angels will be held Sunday, December 27th, 2026, at 10:00 am.
The course is a flat (with one hill) loop course along the scenic Hudson River. There will be hot chocolate and warm cider with other refreshments and all participants will receive a long sleeve cotton running shirt.
We have in-person and virtual options. Nestled in between the Holidays and New Year's Day this is a great time to get out and enjoy the winter weather with your family or make a dash for a new personal record. Frosty the Snowman just might make another appearance and our kids race is great fun. Prizes for the fastest male, female, and non-binary overall and masters winners, and medals for age-group top-three finishers!

Snowflake 5K Run/Walk - In Person
Snowflake 5K Run/Walk - Virtual
The virtual run remains available for runners with a conflict or health issues that preclude running in a group. Run your own 5k course and upload your time. You will be sent a T-shirt. Sorry, virtual runners are not eligible for medals or prizes.
Snowflake Kids Fun Run
A fun sprint for kids up to age 10 that runs under the official race finishing banner! Every finisher gets a medal. We will break the runners into two groups; the younger group will run about 100 yards and the older group 200 yards.
