About this race

The Snowmaker Road Race is an annual event that benefits the Woods Valley Ski Patrol.  The 25th Annual Snowmaker course begins at the Woods Valley Ski Area and tours the picturesque Hamlet of Westernville, NY before finishing back at the Ski Area.  The event consists of a 5K Run, a one-mile walk, and a one-mile kids run for participants 12 and under.

Join us for the 25th Annual Snowmaker Road Race!  Awards, t-shirts, food, beverages, music, and fun!

Join fellow runners on August 22, 2026 for the Snowmaker Road Race. It's a fantastic 5K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Westernville.
