About this race
We're so excited to host the 2nd Solar Strides 5K to fundraise for SolarEquity!
SolarEquity is a student-run non-profit with the mission of empowering low-income communities in North Carolina through the installation of solar energy. We fund and facilitate these solar installations to drive an equitable clean energy transition and reduce residents' energy burdens. Thank you to our partners Environmental Affairs Department of the UNC-Chapel Hill Undergraduate Student Government, Campus Recreation, and Fleet Feet, for helping us with this event. We can't wait to see everyone on November 16th!
Event Details:
- Check-in begins at 6:45 am
- Bib collection will be at check-in
- Race begins at 7:30 am
- Link to the race route
- Food will be provided by our sponsors after the race
Join fellow runners on November 16, 2025 for the Solar Strides 5K. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Chapel Hill.
