2019 - Sorry 'Bout That Half Marathon and Team Relay

1/2 Marathon 18-99
SATURDAY JANUARY 12th, 2019 AT 11:00 AM Same day registration and packet pick up begin at 9:30 AM in the Mission Valley Aquatic Center. There is a locker room. Race items will be available for purchase before and after the race. All racers are encouraged to wear something fun and festive...and warm. Runners who wear a costume will be given a 30 second head start on the competition. This year the course will be clock wise. An uphill start, an uphill finish, with a large downhill in middle. Start on Ridgewater Drive at the Mission Valley Aquatic Center . Turn Right on bike path head South for about 3 miles, then take a right on Reservoir Rd, continue for 4 miles heading west until road ends. Turn R on Back Rd. Continue North on Back road and prepare for a long sustained downhill. Once you reach the bottom of the hill the road turns right and becomes 7th Ave, continue for 2 miles through town and take left onto bike path. Continue on bike path for 2 miles until you return to Ridgewater. . Aide stations will be located around mile 5 and around mile 9. Stocked with water and assorted simple foods. There will be one porta potty on the course.
1/2 Marathon Early Start
The early start option is for walkers or runners that estimate their total time being greater than 3 hours to complete the course. This option is available for relay participants and individuals.
1/2 Marathon 17 years old and younger early start
1/2 Marathon 17 years old and younger normal start
