About The Race(s)
We are so excited to welcome back our 17th Annual South Boston Catholic Academy Road Race on Saturday December 12th, 2026!

The Jingle Bell Run is a South Boston tradition and we hope you join us this year!

We have two youth races to start us off followed by a 5 km course along scenic South Boston beaches and Castle Island.

After the race there will be refreshments to go along with the awards and entertainment.

Registration is open and a classic South Boston Catholic Academy Jingle Bell Run long-sleeve t-shirt will be given to the first 250 Registrants and everyone registered by Sunday, November 29th!

$30 Earlybird price ends Sunday November 22.
$35 Pre-registration ends Friday December 11.

Youth Races (100M dash and 1/2 Mile)
9:00 a.m. – 100 Meter Dash (9 years and under)
9:30 a.m. – ½ Mile Race (14 years and under)

Youth Registration (any time): $15

** youth who wish to run the 100 meter and the 1/2 mile need only register once! **

Course
Fast and flat 5 km along scenic Castle Island and beaches of Day Boulevard.

Number Pick-Up - Night Before and Day of Race
Numbers can be picked up starting at 8AM on the day of the race.

Numbers will also be Available for EARLY PICK-UP on

Parking
Parking is available along the adjacent streets and beach area, which is within 2-3 blocks of South Boston Catholic Academy. Resident parking is NOT in effect on Saturdays.

Refunds
We appreciate and understand that unexpected circumstances present themselves constantly. However, if you have registered for the race and are unable to attend, we kindly request that your race fee be considered a donation to our school, as this event is one of our most critical fundraisers of the year, and our success is extremely reliant upon the number of registered runners.
